I'm New

Everyone is welcome at lake valley baptist church. We are not a club or organization - we are a family of sinners saved by god's amazing grace, and we have a place for you! Please read below about what to expect when you visit.

WELCOME to OUR CHURCH!

Welcome to Lake Valley Baptist Church. Whether you’re getting to know us for the first time or you have been here before and you’re now ready to get connected, then this is the place for you! What to Expect

We are excited to have you as our guest at Lake Valley Baptist Church. There is no limitation or qualification on who can visit. Our church is filled with unique people with unique backgrounds. The one thing we all have in common is our faith in Jesus Christ. Below is a simple overview of our meeting times at our church, and what you can expect when you come.

Sunday Morning Lesson and Singing - 9:45am

Start your Sunday Morning off at Lake Valley Baptist Church with our morning lesson and singing. This service is a traditional service for all ages that includes traditional hymns and an expositional message from the word of God.  This is a vital time for people yearning to grow and grasp the Word of God with others striving for the same cause.

Sunday Morning Worship Service - 11:00am

You will not want to miss our Sunday Morning Worship Service! This particular service is for all ages with congregational singing and a time of preaching for the purpose of revealing the Glorious Gospel, reviving of the Saint, and refocusing our walk with Him. Come and "lift Him Up!"

Sunday Food and Fellowship Hour - 12:00pm

After being stirred by the preaching and singing, come join us in our fellowship hour. It's a time when we can refresh and continue to discuss and share what God is doing in our lives with those around us. Lunch is provided at no cost for all who attend.

Sunday Small Groups - 1:00pm

This is one of the most enjoyable times around the Word of God. The format is simple: Each week we have a passage that we study as a group. The passage that we study is given at the end of each meeting by the small group leader of that group. The group members are encouraged to study the passage throughout the following week and bring insight, thoughts, or questions about the passage to the group meeting the following Sunday. This encourages all of us to study the Word of God together. It also enables us as a church to teach and disciple one another and new believers as seen in the Book of Acts. At the 1:00p.m. hour we also have a ministry for children from K4 - 6th grade.

Wednesday Evening PRayer Meeting - 7:00pm

We meet in the middle of each week for a time of fellowship and prayer. A vital part of the Christian’s walk is prayer. Here at Lake Valley Baptist we meet on Wednesdays to be encouraged with fellowship and the Word of God and lift up the burdens of others and the community through prayer. If you are longing to know what biblical prayer looks like, then I encourage you to come to a midweek service at Lake Valley Baptist!

What about my kids?

Children are a vital part of Lake Valley Baptist Church. Children are gladly welcomed at every service. Each Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm, we have a children's class for children from K4 - 6th grade. Nursery provided for all babies and infants.
